Africa Restaurant Diet Menu
Thursday, November 25th, 2010On Wednesday 2010.11.24 my Inter FM co-host Sayoko & I were treated to a very interesting meal & talk at Africa restaurant in Daikanyama, Tokyo. The meal was created by nutritionist Harumi Toda who is showing diet conscious people that you can enjoy great meals & dining out but not pile on the calories. His specialty is to concentrate on cutting down on sugar content, not just calories. We sampled his meal of salad with a rich gravy dressing , clear shellfish soup, grilled fish, lean steak, a creamy tofu fruit dessert & white wine. A delicious fulfilling meal & I didn’t feel like a blob afterwards!! This special menu is now available at Africa – click here for details..

I was the adult narrator together with my lovely co-narrator 11 year old Rae-chan on the English language version of the show broadcast overseas. We had a great time recording our parts & I only wish that science shows were this cool when I was a kid!!

Daniel Powter At Inter FM
Thursday, November 18th, 2010On Wednesday 2010.11.17 superstar Daniel Powter dropped into my Inter FM program Global Satellite for a chat. It was the second time I’ve interviewed Daniel – the last time was just after his massive hit Bad Day blew up around the world. This time he cracked a joke about how sick of listening to that song me & my listeners must be (!!). Then he added that he’s really sick of listening to it because he’s had to sing it soooooo many times!! Oh & the title was a bit of a fluke – he had the Bad bit written but then he was trying to find a word that rhymed with Hey .. & Day was the winner..
Not such a bad day with Daniel Powter.
