Tuesday, September 18th, 2012

It was a pleasure to meet Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Public Relations Manager Sally de Souza in Tokyo in September 2012.
Sally chatted to me about the Tokyo and London hotels plus the upcoming 50th anniversary of the original Mandarin Oriental Hotel Hong Kong.
Sally is originally from the UK and has lived in Hong Kong for a number of years, but she shared some of her favourite British things for my LHR – London Hit Radio show. My program co-host Maddie and I also introduce you to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Tokyo’s wonderful afternoon tea!!
Sally was lovely.. and she has the most fabulous show-biz sounding name!!

Presentific

Sunday, September 2nd, 2012

Presentific is the concept of giving and sharing experiences. Live in the present and share the experience.

When people ask “What can I give you for a present?” I always reply I don’t need any more “stuff” just spend some valuable time with me, let’s share an experience. The memories of life’s shared experiences are the most valuable possessions we can have.

In 2008 I decided to create Presentific as a virtual place where I recommend experiences and people can share experiences. There was a very fun launch event at the iconic Mado Lounge on the 54th floor of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo.

Presentific has been sitting on the back burner for a while but I hope people can be inspired to give and share experiences.

I interview many inspiring people and always ask them to share their greatest experiences. These conversations are uploaded to the Interview Lounge pages of this website.

Let’s share life’s great experiences!!

I love the original Presentific pattern – representing the circles and loops connecting people around the world, conversations and thought bubbles all in a vibrant happy mood!!
