LHR – London Hit Radio is a dynamic radio program featuring the best of British pop music, chart hits and iconic tunes mixed with celebrity guest interviews, London street reports, great British music destinations and the hippest event information.

The program is produced and hosted by award winning British radio DJ Guy Perryman who splits his time between Tokyo and London and has built an immensely successful career in Tokyo as a veteran radio broadcaster, DJ, voice actor and events promoter.

LHR – London Hit Radio has broadcast as a daily weekday program in primetime slots since April 2012 on 76.1 InterFM in Tokyo and has become one of the station’s signature programs with guest interviews including Sir Paul McCartney, Franz Ferdinand, Little Mix, Olly Murs, Ed Sheeran, Pixie Lott, Elisha La’Verne, Laura Mvula, John “Johnny Rotten” Lydon, Jamie Cullum, Travis, Brand New Heavies, Incognito, Manchester United FC players and many more.

LHR broadcast live from London for one week in 2012 as a lead up to the London Olympics.

LHR has also worked closely with leading British brands including Virgin Atlantic Airways, Paul Smith, Top Shop/Top Man, Alfred Dunhill, Mini and the British tourism office Visit Britain with sponsor tie-ins and special programs including the Japan exclusive broadcasts of the annual Brit Music Awards.

From April 2014 LHR becomes a weekly syndicated program in Japan and now for the first time available for radio markets around the world.

The travel savvy note the name LHR – London Hit Radio is inspired by airline tickets and baggage labels bound for LHR – London Heathrow.
