SUMMER RAPTURE

In celebration of the Tokyo launch of internationally renowned art/design
magazine GLASS, and the magazine’s new Summer “Rapture” issue, this night
will be a special collaboration of music, art, and summer festivity.

Acknowledging many interpretations of the term “rapture,” shoe designer
Manolo Blahnik provides his definition for Glass magazine- “Rapture is “a
flash of pleasure, being delighted in the moment of something that you are
experiencing.”

Along with fantastic music from beloved and amazing DJs Guy Perryman
(InterFM) and Kaori (Lady Something Different), we welcome globally
renowned French tenor Matthieu Sachot, who will grace us with a very
special opera performance, not to be missed.

Acclaimed French-Colombian glass artist Pablo Posada Pernikoff will
prepare a never-been-seen-before exhibition of stunning photography he has
done recently of his beautiful and surreal glass sculptures.

A very special new lounge bar- “AND” is located on Keyakizaka-dori, within
the Roppongi Hills complex, on the 2nd floor just to the left of the Louis
Vuitton store. Prime location, gorgeous interior, and with enviably high
ceilings, beckoning theatrics.

The Guy Perryman Interview Lounge will feature smart conversations with prominent people in business & creative industries.

This launch is an INVITATION ONLY event featuring interviews with the outgoing & incoming Virgin Atlantic Airways Japan Managers – Paul Sands & Richard Myerscough.

We’ll discuss the Virgin brand, how to survive turbulent financial times (but smooth flying with Virgin Atlantic!!), business & personal experiences in Japan, plus both gentlemen will select a few of their favourite songs & their inspiring story to share. There will also be a Q&A session with the guests.

The interview will be recorded for broadcast on my Inter FM program & here on my website.
