BBC Radio included them in the “Sound of 2010″ list; NME Magazine said they were the “Brightest Hope for 2010″; in a recent interview I had with British fashion designer Paul Smith he said he’s listening to them & wants to put them in his threads - so The Drums came to Japan with some pretty good recommendations & it was no surprise their Tokyo debut show sold out.

From my archive here’s my interview with Coldplay from 2005. The interview ran on my Inter FM program in 2 parts - first in April 2005 & then on the Coldplay album X & Y release date in June. I’d had a few years to get used to the idea that Coldplay’s bass player Guy Berryman & I share the same name (bar 1 letter) but he was quite shocked.
