Just had my day at Buckingham Palace!! Investiture on Friday 16 June 2017 to receive an MBE for services to British music in Japan. Prince Charles presented me with my medal and he was an absolute delight, we had a very friendly chat and a bit of a laugh. It was the most special day and I have to say the spirit of the occasion was a lot of fun with all of the incredible people I met and the welcoming Palace staff. What a lucky man I am.
