On 2nd April 2022 my darling mother Josephine departed, or “went travelling”, to use her preferred term.
Born in Northern Rhodesia in 1933 she lived an incredible life.
But more than anything she was the most loving, caring, funny and inspiring mother who, from our first heart beats to her very last, unfailingly protected my two sisters and me.
Josephine often said one of the happiest days of her life was the day she married our father. How beautiful and dignified she was and shall always be. Those traits were not skin deep.
One of the last things she said to me was “Take me with you wherever you go”, well Mummy that is a promise I can keep because we continue on this journey together, you are inside my soul forever brimming with love.
Over the years Josephine had a lot of fun times with my friends around the world, moments that I am very grateful for, with many thanks to you all.
